IARTS Project Fund

IARTS Project Fund

Arti ChandariaThe IARTS Project Fund will bring Indian artists or designers to Canada where they will do a residency at OCAD University.  Its purpose is meant to push the boundaries of creativity and the creative process in a new environment and new thinking.

The resident artist will interact with students and faculty, and help build relationships by connecting with many Canadian communities.  Through the residency, Canadians will be exposed to Indian culture through art and, at the same time, the resident artist will gain exposure to the Canadian artistic community.

The IARTS Project Fund has been inspired by Arti Chandaria (1960-2015), who was a tireless champion for South Asian arts and culture in Toronto. The Fund will keep her passion for the arts alive forever and encourage others to contribute and support the arts.
